I’m not the greatest fan of oilseed rape. But it does introduce swathes of colour into the landscape. It made me think how stunning it would be if you had fields like these interspersed with green pasture, deep purple bluebells, pale lavender, red poppies and pink apple blossom. Picked out by the sun it would be almost too much.
I took this outside Groombridge yesterday. Yes, I’ve played about with the levels a bit in an edit programme, but sometimes what the camera captures has to be brought into line with what the eye, or the imagination, sees.
