Season of Mists

IMG_3510There are days when I just have to give thanks for the beauty of the world around me. Today was one of those days; a perfect autumn, swaddled in mist, heavy with dew, the tiny beads of water shining diamond-like in the October sun.

IMG_3529My first instinct when I see something so beautiful that it’s hard to put into words is to want to share it. Perhaps that’s one reason we choose our friends and lovers – they’re the people we want to be there when words fail us and we can only submit to silent wonder.

Couldn’t agree more with Laura’s comment. Thanks for a genuinely beautiful posting.
I too love to “give thanks” for the different seasons. The Rhythm of the seasons is very beautiful.
